Uncommon Tune-ins, Felipe González's podcast on Podimo, selected among the best of Apple Podcasts 2021

Dec 1, 2021

Rare harmonies, the podcast by Felipe González exclusively for Podimo, has been selected among the best podcasts on Apple Podcasts in 2021.

The show has managed to enter a very rigorous classification that highlights only the most notable from the Apple podcast platform this year, and it has done so in a year especially intense for national podcast production. A distinction that recognizes the uniqueness and quality of the exchanges between the prominent personalities that gather in the podcast.

Rare harmonies, produced exclusively by Podimo and the Felipe González Foundation, is the first podcast by a Spanish former president conceived as a space for reflection and aspires to become a direct communication link with citizens.

The former president converses with personalities and experts from different fields such as Manuela Carmena,  Alberto Núñez Feijóo, Luis Garicano, Ignacio Varela, or Julia Navarro, addressing topics such as pardons for those sentenced for the declaration of independence in Catalonia, the state of alarm due to Covid-19, economic recovery, or the role of the Spanish transition in the current state of national politics.

In its second season, González crosses the Atlantic to interview politicians and prominent figures from Latin America such as the Nobel Peace Prize winner Juan Manuel Santos, the Nicaraguan writer and politician exiled in Costa Rica Sergio Ramírez, the former Minister of Foreign Relations of Colombia María Angela Holguín, or journalist and writer Jesús Silva-Herzog Márquez.
