Podimo launches its first television campaign to promote the consumption of podcasts and audiobooks in Spanish

Dec 21, 2020

With the arrival of the new year, to-do lists become the main protagonists of our conversations. But what if we told you there is a podcast for every resolution? That is the motto of Podimo's first television campaign, the European platform for podcasts and audiobooks, which will launch this Christmas.

Among the more than 50,000 podcasts and audiobooks in Spanish that Podimo offers,  you can listen to the most interesting conversations, learn new languages, get in shape, start that business you've been thinking about for a while, and listen to your favorite books. Yes, you read that right: listening to books, because books are now also available in audio format.

It is undoubtedly a campaign that will help many Spaniards discover the Podimo platform, due to the reach that television offers. This campaign will also serve to boost the podcasting industry, as well as to energize a growing sector like audiobooks. We want to take this opportunity to thank the hundreds of podcast creators, as well as the audiobook publishers, who have bet on Podimo allowing us to market their content in our app.

Throughout the Christmas period, Podimo will bring this new form of entertainment and learning to millions of Spanish homes. 2020 has become the year in which this format has consolidated as one of the main means of consuming audio content, thanks to its ease of use and the wide range of content available. Listening to a podcast or an audiobook is highly compatible with most of the activities we do throughout the day: from cooking to enjoying a walk, through exercise routines or that moment of relaxation after dinner.

For these reasons, Podimo's television campaign, which will be accompanied by multiple marketing actions through other online and offline channels, is an important initiative for the industry, for creators, and for those seeking to monetize their content within a fair profit-sharing model.
