The podcast platform that will change the game is coming to Mexico

Mexico City, February 15, 2023. After the rapid success achieved in Europe, Podimo, the subscription service for podcasts and audiobooks, announces its focus on the Mexican market starting in March of this year. With exclusive content, the Podimo app offers access to hundreds of shows created by the best local talent, intelligently curated and with an intuitive design that will provide a personalized experience.
Although Podimo has been working with Latin American creators and producers for over two years, this Danish project has decided to go further and change the rules of the game in audio entertainment in the country. Its content offering covers a variety of topics including true crime, sexuality, investigative journalism, humor, the supernatural and the inexplicable, couple relationships, history (local and universal), body positivity, among many others.

Since its founding in 2019, Podimo has been committed to a unique model for both listeners and content creators, providing the opportunity to monetize without the need for ads. This philosophy has become a reality thanks to a team of four visionaries: Morten Strunge, who decided to focus on user experience, Eva Lægdsgaard, one of the first executives at Spotify, as well as Nikolaj Koppel and Andreas Sachse.
Podimo arrives strongly in the wake of the recent podcast boom in Mexico over the past four years, where the number of users consuming audio entertainment has increased by 70%, alongside the number of influencers, YouTubers, journalists, and communicators who have decided to venture into this industry. Mexico City will be the operational base in Latin America. The local team will be continuously searching for new talent and original content.

The application is already available in Latin America, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Finland.
