Álex Fidalgo joins the Podimo family

Jun 9, 2021

Alex Fidalgo, the creator of one of the most listened to podcasts in Spain (“Lo que tú digas”), bets on Podimo by creating a season exclusively for our platform. Thanks to his perseverance over 4 years, Alex has managed to position his conversational podcast among the top spots of podcasting platforms in Spain, accumulating millions of downloads and tens of thousands of subscribers. Starting next Tuesday, June 15, the listeners of the podcast “Lo que tú digas” will be able to keep enjoying it for free through the Podimo app.

In June 2017, he launched the podcast “Lo que tú digas”, where every Tuesday an episode is published in which Fidalgo chats casually with guests from diverse fields. Each episode, lasting between two to three hours, is a raw conversation, without cuts or script, featuring the most interesting minds. Notable names from science and culture and protagonists of amazing stories lie down on the couch of Lo que tú digas to reflect, educate, surprise, anger, evoke emotions, and debate.

Over the last 4 years, Alex has had guests of the stature of Andreu Buenafuente, Carlos Alsina, Manuela Carmena, Rodrigo Cortés, Isabel Coixet, Dani Rovira, José Mota, Marc Gasol, or Isabel Gemio on his show. Popular faces have mixed within the podcast with renowned scientists and other less known protagonists to the general public but who have fascinating stories to tell, such as Jorge Valdés, former drug trafficker and one of the founding members of the Medellín cartel, or Ana Cecilia Stieglitz, a survivor of the NXIVM sex cult.
