Nov 6, 2020

The prestigious Mexican journalist Pamela Cerdeira will publish a new season of her acclaimed podcast “Extraordinarios,” one of the most listened to in Latin America, on Podimo. This time it will be “Extraordinarios Latinoamérica”, where the communicator will learn about the extraordinary stories behind some of the figures in culture across Latin America.

"Extraordinarios Latinoamérica” is a series of conversations to inspire, open eyes, and learn the path of those who, at their moment, did the most important thing: take the first step. The new season will feature 12 episodes that will be released weekly starting Saturday, November 7, exclusively on our platform. Each week, listeners of the new season of Extraordinarios will be able to enjoy, together with Pamela Cerdeira, a very personal interview with luxury protagonists from across Latin America, filled with personal experiences and important lessons that can help many listeners find themselves in it.

The first episode of Extraordinarias will feature the presence of Morganna Love, the transgender opera singer who was recognized by Forbes magazine as one of the 100 most powerful women in Mexico. Her transition as a woman was a crucial part of her professional recognition, as it was portrayed by filmmaker Flavio Florencio in a documentary titled Made in Bangkok. The documentary premiered worldwide in 2017 and received several accolades, including a nomination for the Ariel Award from the Mexican Academy of Film for Best Documentary Feature. The success of the documentary brought Morganna media attention and consequently public interest.
