‘Ciencia o evidencia’ is the podcast that solves your medical, sexual, and sometimes even mystical doubts. They provide a space from anonymity to resolve without hesitation the questions that any of us may have. It is as easy as sending an audio note to the number 686 595 586, and David Callejo and Eva Rojas will solve it for you with a scientific basis and a touch of everyday life so that we can understand it.

During the three seasons that 'Ciencia o evidencia' has been running, topics such as mental health, grandmother's remedies, sex, addictions, diseases that embarrass us, or how our brain works have been addressed.

As a journalist specializing in sexuality, writer, and influencer on social media, Noemí Casquet has contributed in ‘Ciencia o evidencia’ her knowledge and professionalism on topics such as expanded orgasms, what chakras are and where they are located, an introduction to tantrism, dancing as a language in sex, or our sexual future tied to our past.

Noemí Casquet has been spreading knowledge about a taboo subject like sex for thirteen years, exclusively researching sexuality. One of her goals is for humanity to realize the importance of sex; moreover, she adds: “Maintaining outreach for so many years is very difficult because you are labeled with many things. I have no plan B; if I don't do this, I die.”

In response to the question of why sex is taboo, the specialist argues the principle of this by mentioning that one of the great losses is in ancient civilizations, which have a history of ancestral wisdom within sexuality and spirituality, which to this day they deny. She shares that in India, there is a lot of taboo surrounding sexuality and they have many philosophies such as the Kamasutra or tantrism that have contributed to this world. Following this line, she approaches Christianity saying that, especially for women, sexuality has been kidnapped and subjected to male pleasure for centuries.

During this talk, Noemí Casquet discusses a little-explored topic with limited social knowledge, which is tantrism. She states: “Five years ago, I had a cosmic orgasm that changed my life.” She shares that cosmic orgasms are the pinnacle of tantra, considered as orgasms expanded throughout the body, unlike common orgasms that tend to focus on the genitals. “We often confuse passion with being fast. Passion is intensity, and there is nothing more intense than a slow caress.”

Another topic she dives into is the taboo that exists among children and adults regarding sex, stating that foundations must be laid from the age of two until our death. She explains the importance of sexual education from birth from the perspective of talking to children about consent and sexual self-esteem. “The goal is not for a six-year-old to know how to have sexual relationships, but rather to recognize abuse if it occurs; they are being given the power of 'no'.”, Noemí explains. Regarding the topic of early ages, she adds that a social problem is that in our society, there is a belief that pornography represents our real life, and the first exposure to this usually happens at eight years old.

One of the last topics on which they share opinions is about open relationships. Noemí Casquet explains this topic saying: “Monogamy is a belief built on many issues, among them that monogamy is the sacrifice we have to make to show the other person that we love them.” As a reflection from her own experience in sexuality outreach, she adds that generally, people think that open relationships equate to loving less, but she believes the opposite—that you love more. She concludes by adding: “Love is not just romantic; we have many types of love and consequently many possibilities. I believe that I am nobody to interfere in my partner's personal experience; what I am building with that person does not interfere with anything else.”
