Aug 17, 2021
Legends of Atlético de Madrid is "an essential podcast to get to know in depth the most legendary players of one of the most traditional football clubs in Spain," as recognized by its creators, the renowned journalists Nacho Montero and Miguel Ángel Guijarro.
The history of football teams is usually narrated with a succession of data surrounding the ups and downs of the club itself, its leaders, and its coaches, as well as the victories and defeats harvested on the playing fields, but, on many occasions, the true protagonists are overlooked: the footballers. That is precisely what this podcast aims to recover.
For football fans, in general, and Atlético de Madrid supporters, in particular, the life and professional trajectory of some of the men who, with their effort, dedication, and sporting quality, have enhanced the history of this mythical club. In Legends of Atlético de Madrid you will get to know the history of great figures in Atleti's history like Luis Aragonés, Abel Resino, Adelardo, or Gárate.
Thanks to this podcast and by listening to their voices, new generations of fans will have the opportunity to learn who those players were and how they came to defend their team's jersey one day.
