The writer and YouTuber Javier Ruescas has just released his podcast "Extraordinary Letters," exclusively on our platform. With this podcast, Javier Ruescas has taken the opportunity to unite his passion for writing and his curiosity for great stories. In each episode of “Extraordinary Letters”, Javier Ruescas discovers a letter (or fragments of it) from famous people, from the present time or the past. These are letters that changed the world or the lives of those who received them: from writers, kings, politicians, musicians, criminals… And he puts them in context so that we can know the person behind those missives, beyond their fame, and he does it in a fresh, dynamic, entertaining way full of curiosities. In this podcast, you will discover, on one hand the excitement of knowing how those famous people expressed themselves, and, on the other, the characteristics that surrounded their lives at the moment they were written. Jack the Ripper, García Lorca, Arthur Conan Doyle, Joan of Arc, Jane Austen, Houdini, or Mata Hari are just some of the people whose stories we will learn in "Extraordinary Letters." All concentrated into 30-minute episodes, with a new letter and a great story behind it to discover, and available on our app every Monday.
"Extraordinary Letters" is a different way to approach history and the famous characters that have shaped our world with their inventions, stories, creations, decisions, actions... If we had to summarize it, we would say that it is a podcast that appeals to the curiosity of the listeners, but also to their hearts. So, if you enjoy anecdotes, thrilling stories, and feel curious about how these men and women who made a before and after expressed themselves, we at Podimo believe this podcast is for you.
