Hipermovidas ha vuelto
Sep 18, 2024
In the first season, we hear theories that, along with collaborators and guests, unfold. As if it were an onion, and with the most protected layer ending up as a result, we start the first season in December of last year wondering if, with the rise and daily advancement of technology introduced into our daily lives, it would be possible for an AI to fall in love with a human. As a theory and debate, it is a good topic, but in Hipermovida, they discussed whether it could be scientifically possible. They also tackled topics about string theory when explaining whether a completely flat earth could exist or what a material must possess for it to be quantum; for example, what would it take for a material to become invisible? The guest of that particular episode is Elina Pinilla, a Spanish physicist specializing in molecular nanotechnology, who explains that for an object to be invisible, the radiation would have to pass through the object, and you, as an observer, would not see anything in response to that radiation. So, would it be possible to manufacture the cloak of invisibility or disappear before others' eyes without dying along the way or facing a final destination? All these questions and theories are discussed in Hipermovidas.
If what really interests you are topics that deal with infinity and beyond, as studied and researched by humans, such as the number of infinities, black holes, or aliens, I would start listening to the first season because the second has returned with more current and entertaining topics like the science behind the Taylor Swift phenomenon.
We have enjoyed this first season with guests such as Paul Van Branteghem, Pablo Ibarburu, Ángel Uranga, Goyo Jiménez, Laura Toribio, Antonio Castelo, Teresa de los Reyes, Virginia Riezu, and a long etcetera of celebrities within the physical and scientific world.
