He has rapped about a life that few know – with a language so sharp and honest that it has made him one of the most prominent voices in Danish music. Now Branco turns his gaze inward.

In the new original podcast “Branco against Branco”, which premieres on May 19 exclusively on Podimo, he tells his story – honestly and without filter. Over ten episodes, the listeners are invited up close to the life that Branco has only hinted at in his lyrics so far. From childhood on the block and the musical breakthrough to fame. Along the way, he shares the choices he has made, the consequences they have had – and the life experiences that have shaped him. It is a rare insight into the person behind the music, told in his own voice in conversation with journalist and author Thomas Skov.

How does one become who they are – and what has it cost?

In “Branco against Branco” we meet both the artist and the person. Through personal reflections and poetic narratives, an honest and intimate portrait of a man is drawn, who has chosen to close a chapter – and now looks back to understand where he comes from and what it has taken to get there.
