Malbert og Luc Loren står over for hinanden ved premieren på ‘Kære Hater’: “Pomboerne er ikke fascister”
Sep 13, 2023
Interviews with uncomfortable questions, politically incorrect topics, controversies surrounding public figures. Malbert returns with that program he always wanted to have, showing the reality of each guest in unfiltered conversations.
The first season of 'Dear Hater' has set the bar high. Malbert has tackled sensitive topics such as the falseness among influencers, TV fights, lies in politics, or even the darker side of television shows. The focus of these interviews has been on guests like Jonan Wiergo, Noemí Casquet, Jorge Javier, Ada Colau, or Dakota, public figures that Malbert has put in compromising situations.
The second season returns strong with a face-to-face between Malbert and the DJ, presenter, and influencer, Luc Loren. The knives fly in the first interview that stands out for the tension between both influencers. A live tension they have carried since a summer encounter where they had to be separated.
They talk together about their fame thanks to being 'friends of...' and Malbert questions whether the influencer has achieved a name for himself. "Only you call me Dulceida's tick," are some of the words with which Luc Loren responds.
Additionally, Malbert firmly asks about political issues related to María Pombo's family: “Don't you think you're perhaps whitewashing people whose existence, vote, or speeches affect a group like yours that you defend so much?”. To which Luc Loren adds: “I am certain that the Pombos have never wanted anything bad for the group. The Pombos are not fascists.”
Malbert continues to insist on this topic by bringing up specific controversies such as a video of Marta Pombo, María's sister, in which she said that shorts seemed "tomboyish." To which Luc Loren replies that Marta has been in a very delicate state of depression and that the best for her is not to get dragged into it.
During the episode, they talk about other topics such as the breakup of the Tripletz, opinions on Pelayo Díaz, Verdeliss, and Tamara Gorro. They also add to the world of social media, a topic in which Luc Loren claims he has even had tantrums for having few likes on Instagram.
Two different people, two ways of thinking, two opposing content creators, two viewpoints on the same couch. May God catch us confessed!
All of this is just the beginning of a season that comes loaded with gossip, as Malbert describes it. The protagonist is willing to put his guests in compromising situations to get them to open up and face their worst enemies: their haters. But will they be prepared to confront him?
