The Making Of Now - The Podcast for Getting Started

Apr 28, 2020

How does one manage to just get started?

The Now - Podcast aims to help right here. If you feel like tackling your day properly and making good use of your time, then this is the right podcast for you. Who is the creator behind it and why does he have the recipe for action, you'll learn in this interview.

What is your podcast about?

In the Now - Podcast, I talk about the last few years as an artist and young entrepreneur and what I have learned from various coaches. Every week we do a practical exercise so you can get started right away and tackle your dreams and visions. Especially now, when we all have so many ideas. We simply need to implement them. If not, the listener can just experience what has happened to me and be entertained. That's okay too.

How did the idea for this podcast come about?

I like to share what I learn, because that way not only I can benefit from it. Last year, I started a co-living space and completely set up my apartment for startups. I thought, why not start a podcast with that - The podcast for tackling sounded perfect, and now the fifth episode is already coming - somehow already crazy.

What do you like about the podcast medium?

Right here at Podimo, the fact that we creators are supported and as listeners, the virtually endless possibility to hear everything and even whenever, wherever and however long I want

What do you like most about working as a podcaster?

It has become a small ritual to produce the podcasts on Tuesday and Saturday evenings. I can do this from home, and it always pushes me to start anew, experiment, and discover new things. Above all, I don’t have to pretend - that is exciting in film or on stage, but rather annoying in everyday life or in front of the microphone.

You meet like-minded people or entirely new opportunities for collaboration arise. For example, I met an artist in Berlin who metaphorically brings the 240 fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm into the 21st century, drawing them with heart and soul only in ink. - It fit perfectly with the Stories and Ballads podcast, which has been available on Podimo since November.

Has there ever been a mishap?

Once, we were live on Instagram with the Stories and Ballads podcast with a reading of the Brothers Grimm. My iPad just turned off, and if I hadn't noticed, my reading partner and I probably wouldn't have kept up anymore.
